End of Life for Windows 7 and Server 2008

End of Life for Windows 7 and Server 2008

Microsoft have announced that they will no longer be providing security updates for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 from January 14, 2020.  Support for Windows 8 and Windows Server 2003 was dropped some time ago.

What does this mean for you?  Any workstations or servers continuing to operate after 14/1/20 are at significant risk from vulnerabilities and cyber-attacks.

Fortunately, we are here to help you through this upgrade process!

If you are a regular customer of ours, we have already started preparing a customised plan for your environment and will be in touch during September to discuss the way forward.

If you are not a customer of ours and are looking for advice please contact us to discuss how to keep your systems safe.

We look forward to working with you to keep your IT systems safe and secure so you can keep on doing great work.

Regards,

Simon Wong

Director
